have a suggestion for the Occupy Central organizers. They should follow my suggestion if they do not want the police to manhandle (treat in a rough way) them during their peaceful protest. Police Commissioner Andy Tsang Wai-hung has said he would deploy (get into position for action) the entire police force of 30,000 men and women, if necessary, to deal with the 10,000 people who will take part in the Occupy Central protest. Most of the 30,000 people in the police force are men. I suggest that the Occupy Central organizers make sure all 10,000 protesters are women.

T he organizers have said the Occupy Central protest for democracy will be peaceful. The 10,000 protesters will block (obstruct, stop) traffic by sitting on the road until the police carry them away. But if all 10,000 protesters are women, only policewomen can carry them away. There are not enough policewomen to carry away 10,000 protesters. If policemen also carry them away, the women protesters can claim the policemen groped their private parts. The word grope has several meanings but used this way it means to touch someone roughly for sexual pleasure without that person's permission. The expression private parts means the front and back genital or sexual organs of a man or woman. A woman's breasts can also be referred to as her private parts.

Recently, there was a case of a woman protester who accused a policeman of groping her breasts when he tried to move her away. I am sure police commissioner Tsang would be stumped if all the Occupy Central protesters were women. The word stump has several meanings but if someone is stumped it means he doesn't know what to say or how to handle a situation. To make sure people believe the Occupy Central protesters when they claim the policemen had groped their private parts, all 10,000 women must be beautiful. No one would believe it if a fat and ugly woman claimed a policeman had groped her.

*Today is the last day of the book fair. I'll be at the Sing Tao Publishing booth (1AD28) from 2.30 pm to sign copies of my new book. I hope to see you there.
